Chinese hamsters are solitary animals and not easy to get along with. Because of this, they cannot keep two tails in one cage, so they are better kept individually.

Cricetulus griseus, also known as the Chinese Hamster, belongs to the Cricetidae family. This small, highly intelligent Hamster comes from China and Mongolia and has a longer tail than other hamsters. Its ovarian cells are often used to produce recombinant therapeutic proteins.
